yahaven 2.7.6 updater cant connect to server

  hi. thanx for having me here..i just downloaded yahaven 2.7.6 and 2.7.7 in zip file from here.i installed version 2.7.6 it all works great ..except the updater wont connect to server..ive allowed it to access thru firewall ..but still says ..an error occured in communicating with host computer..yahaven updater report..error retrieving update control file..hope this info helps..,look forward to any help

2.7.6 is the latest Yahaven!

2.7.7 is beta - You may run it, but don't recommend it.

ive talked to dream (peter) and he said the only difference  is that the 2.7.7. beta has a couple of bug fixes for the trivia and he will be setting up the updater soon...when he can be bothered LOL
