Windows 7 is due out pretty soon and after many different versions planned like the europe version with no browsers there will only be three versions available at launch, Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate and will just offer you a choice of what browser you want when installing, i’ve been using the RTM and have never had that option so perhaps it was late implemented.
What i want to know is if you’re thinking about updating to the new windows when microsoft release it in october?
I can personally say it is much better than vista right off the bat and i was surprizingly impressed with the cleanup the microsoft development team have done to the OS and how much quicker and crisper it actually is, that been said it still would take a half decent pc with high specs to really appreciate it but it will install on older pcs, well not that old but within xp/vista scope.
If you have a pc that you just got recently with vista then i do recommend the update but if you have XP i suggest perhaps installing it on a partition to see if it installs and how it acts before you take the plunge to update.
